Relaxation of photoinduced electrical structure in ruby
- 1. AN SSSR, Kazan (Russian Federation). Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.
Description
Consideration is given to results on relaxation of photoinduced domain structure under different conditions of its formation. Photoelectric structure was created by laser irradiation of ruby specimens. Luminescence spectra were made at 77 K before structure formation, immediately after structure formation and after specimen holding at room temperature during different times. The conclusion was made about the existence of dark mechanism of relaxation high-temperature spatial charge redistribution, initiated by nucleus domain structure, created under irradiation. Slow process is not accompanied by charge redistribution in a specimen
