Description

Means generally used for liquid helium level measurement are the capacitive or superconductive probes. The signal, generally electric, is collected and treated by electronic means operating at ambiant temperature; they operate the pneumatic or electric command of a control valve; the cold active element of this valve controls the necessary alimentation flow

Les moyens generalement utilises pour la mesure du niveau d'helium liquide sont les sondes capacitives ou les sondes surpraconductrices qui donnent un signal ''tout ou rien''. Le signal, en general electrique, est recueilli et traite par des moyens electroniques operant a temperature ambiante ou ils actionnent la commande electrique ou pneumatique d'une vanne de regulation dont l'element actif froid (siege et pointeau) commande le debit d'alimentation necessaire
