Diagnostic value of the dynamic liver angioscintigraphy

Description
Estimation of the liver perfusion with regarding the arterial and portal distribution of the blood might be possible due to introducing the radioisotope's dynamic method. The aim of our study was the qualifying the value of dynamic radioisotopes angiography in the estimation of the liver perfusion in particular diseases of this organ, and comparing these results with ultrasonography and laboratory tests. Normal results of dynamic liver angiography are among 70-75%. The greatest reduction of the portal perfusion to 59,2% we ascertained in the group with chronic persisting hepatitis, a little lower-reaching to 64.6% was found in a group with HBs antigenemia, sightly but statistically significant depression to 66.2% we observed in patients with congenital hyperbilirubinemia. Dynamic liver angiography turned out to be the sensitive method estimating the perfusion of the organ. With the help of the method the reduction of the liver perfusion, even without the early stage symptoms of the disease, may suggest earlier reduction of the portal perfusion before laboratory and ultrasonography signs appear.
