Utilization of non-coherently scattered radiation to compensate the absorption during the determination of trace elements by X-ray fluorescence analysis

  • 1. Ustav Radioekologie a Vyuzitia Jadrovej Techniky, Kosice (Czechoslovakia)

Description

A modification of the X-ray fluorescence method was worked out using non-coherently scattered radiation to compensate the absorption. The possibilities of its application in the trace element analysis were tested on dust fallout and soil standards. The device, the measurement, and the evaluation procedures are briefly described.
