Experiments of ultra low q equilibrium with qa<0.1

Description
We have studied the regime intermediate between the tokamak and the RFP, with 00.1 have been carried out in REPUTE-1, HBTX-1C, and OHTE. The ULQ equilibrium with qa<0.1 is observed first on SWIP-RFP device. The experimental results of ULQ configuration are given with a passive crowbar, the plasma current duration τp, which is over 300 μs, is obtained. (author) 6 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab
