Description
In order to quickly and accurately judge whether unqualified type, then realizing the automation of the test. types and based on the study of classic and new types of steering wheel casting products are qualified and According to the characteristics of the casting defects edge detection algorithm and fuzzy recognition algorithm. After the experiment analysis and comparison, use the Canny operator and testing method of mathematical morphology and take choose nearly principle of fuzzy recognition algorithm into the steering wheel castings defect recognition. At last, through the PC and PLC serial interface communication can realize the automation. The experiment and the field test shows that the method can realize the automatic detection and recognition of steering wheel castings, and the false positive rate <5%. (authors)
