Description

The present paper reports various possible sources of uncertainty associated with the sand as a dosimeter. Laboratory experiments on the sand samples have been carried out to study uncertainty associated with dose calibration estimation. Uniformity of TLD response within a batch of the sand sample in the present work was estimated as ±5%. The maximum uncertainties in the individual calibrations in the dose range 100Gy-6kGy were within ±7% (1σ). (author)
