Description
The transformation of the hydrodynamic equations, for an ideal compressible fluid, into a canonical form in terms of vector fields is proposed using a Lagrangian, dynamically constrained by vorticity, instead of the Clebsch potentials. The relationship among vorticity, angular momentum and canonical momenta is obtained through the scalar Debye potentials while quantization is done as usual in field theory (Author)
