Spin and parity if the 11μsec isomeric level of 109Cd

Description
The internal conversion coefficients of the 259.8 keV isomeric transition in 109Cd excited by the 108Pd(α,3n) reaction have been measured by means of the on-line β-ray orange spectrometer. This experiment proves the M2 character of the transition and consequently the spin and parity 11/2- for the isomeric level

Les coefficients de conversion de la transition isomérique de 259,8 keV du 109Cd ont été mesurés à l'aide du spectromètre β orange en ligne, par réaction 108Pd(α, 3n). Cette mesure prouve le caractère M2 de cette transition et donc le spin et la parité 11/2- pour le niveau isomérique.Additional details
