Direct synthesis of anilides from nitroarenes
Description
Experimental results have shown that nitroarenes are converted directly to anilides in a heated system with Mo(CO)6 and carboxylic acid. Heating Mo(CO)6 with carboxylic acid produces the reducing species Mo(II)
