Description
Changes in the electrical and photoelectrical properties, as well as in the dislocation structure, of crystalline p-CdTe under the pulsed laser irradiation were studied. A decrease in the dark current and an increase in the dislocation density in both irradiated and unirradiated parts of the crystal were observed. These changes are related to the effect of surface acoustic waves generated by the nanosecond laser pulses
