Potentiometric determination of molybdenum (6) using solid-contact molybdenum-selective electrode

Description
Consideration is being given to the simple and rapid method for Mo (6) potentiometric determination using the developed solid-contact molybdenum-selective electrode on the basis of Mo (6) chelate with N-benzoyl-N-phenylhydroxylamine in wide concentration range (1.10-5 - 0.1 M) and in pH4-10 range. Mo (6) determination is not complicated by tungsten (6), rhenium (7), Mo (5), as well as by 10-fold V (5) amounts. Analysis duration, when conducting 4-5 simultaneous determinations equals 15-20 min, reproducability - 0.01-0.06. The method was applied for analysis of Mo-W-Re alloys and the samples of potassium silicomolybdate
