Cleanup device for main condensator drain

Description

Purpose: To perform efficient clean up processings for the drains in a main condensator and a feedwater-condensate system without producing secondary wastes. Constitution: Since most of cruds contained in drains are of fine grain size usually of about 0.1 μm and removing performance therefor is extremely poor in the case of using pre-coat type filters using filter materials. Further, the filtration also involves drawbacks of not only causing secondary wastes such as filter sludges but also imposing expensive cost. In view of the above, non-filter auxiliary type purifying device such as hollow yarn membrane filters are used as means for removing cruds in the drains. The hollow yarn membrane filters are prepared, for example, by bundling several tens - several thousands of tens of tubular filter materials, for example, made of polyethylene, and fine pores of about 0.1 μm can provide high removing efficiency nearly to 100 % relative to the cruds and enabling purifying processing for a great amount of drains.
