Description

A brief review is given of principal radiation damages in structural materials and related problems arising in development, designing and operation of nuclear- and thermonuclear power plants. The urgent tasks of reactor material studies as well as the use of particle accelerators in simulation and investigation of the phenomena responsible for radiation resistance of reactor materials are discussed
