Rhenium and molybdenum coprecipitation with tin disulfide

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

Rhenium and molybdenum coprecipitation out of individual and mixed solutions on the collector (tin disulfide) in the moderately sour medium, is investigated. Sodium sulfide is used as a precipitant. It is established that the degree of rhenium (7) and tin disulfide coprecipitation at the moment of its formation in the 0.1-0.5 mol HCl and H2SO4 depends on its content in its initial solutions, the quantity of the collector, and the precipitant and the presence of considerable amounts of molybdenum (6) compounds. It is suggested that rhenium and molybdenum sulfides interact spontaneously with tin disulfide without any formation of triple sulfide phases
