Description

The design of accelerating-storage complex (ASC) of IHEP is described along with the stage and perspectives of its development. The disign comprises the creation of a 20 km two-stage synchrotron. The first stage is a booster, it is a 200 GeV synchrotron with a conventional electromagnet. The acceleration up to 3 GeV is performed in the second stage, where a superconducting ring-shaped electromagnet will be Used. The U-70 accelerator with the intensity of 5x1013 proton/cycle will be used as an injector. Presented are the main parameters of ASC and magnetic structure. Well as performances of lenses. As an acceleratina system, it is supposed to use single-type modules, each of which consists of a HF-generator with power output of 800-1000 kW, with feeding units and an accelerating section 6 m long. A 3 TeV proton beam is supposed to be stored in the superconducting ring and to collide with a beam of the same energy accelerated in pulse superconducting ring. A method of the storage of 15-20 GeV electrons is considered
