'Regulatory Updates' is the monthly newsletter of the French Nuclear Safety Authority. It provides information on ASN national and international activities as well as on the current events of the nuclear installations under its control. In this issue: 1 - Manufacturing deviation at Framatome stress-relieving heat treatment of welds; 2 - Olivier Gupta is elected Chair of WENRA; 3 - Consequences of the earthquake in the Rhone valley: ASN has checked correct application of the verification procedures; 4 - ASN promotes initiatives in favour of justifying imaging examinations in France; 5 - ASN submits for public consultation its draft position statement on the orientations of the generic phase of the 4.
