Method for the production of lithium fluoride detectors
Description
The production of LiF-detectors for thermoluminescent dosemeters is based on the melt. Raw materials are LiF powder inoculated with Ti or TiF4 (1-200 ppm) or LiF powder with titanium oxide. During the crystal production O2 doping is made, for example by diffusion in a O2-atmosphere, ar by O2-delivery from titanium dioxide. (Czochralski Method). (DG)

Die Herstellung der LiF-Detektoren fuer die TLD erfolgt aus der Schmelze. Ausgangsmaterial ist mit Ti oder TiF4(1-200 ppm) versetztes LiF-Pulver bzw. Titanoxid (1-200 ppm) und LiF-Pulver. Die Dotierung mit O2 wird waehrend oder nach der Kristallherstellung, z.B. durch Diffusion aus einer O2-Atmosphaere, oder durch Abgabe von O2 aus dem Titandioxid vorgenommen (Czochralski-Verfahren).
