Crystal structure of RNiSb2 (where R - Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm)

Description

Results of determination by powder method of crystal structure of CeNiSb2 compound, which forms in Ce-Ni-Sb system at 879 K, as well as related compounds with Pr, Nd and Sm are given. It belongs to HfCuSi2 type (sp. gr. P4/nmm, a=440.9(2), c=974.9(4) pm). PrNiSb2, NdNiSb2, SmNiSb2 compounds, isostructural with CeNiSb2 were found
