Photovoltaics in the UK
Description
A brief review is given of the development of photovoltaics in the UK. In particular, four market categories are examined: consumer products (e.g. calculators), professional markets (e.g. remote telecommunications), remote stand-alone systems (e.g. street lights in rural areas) and the grid connected market (e.g. power generation). other topics covered include cladding of buildings with photovoltaics and world production figures.
