Experiments on two-phase turbulent mixing between two parallel flow subchannels
- 1. Kumamoto Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
Turbulent mixing rates between two adjacent subchannels were obtained experimentally for various flow regimes of air-water two-phase flow using a tracer technique. Three different types of channel geometries were employed in the experiment. Two-phase liquid mixing rates are found to be flow regime dependent. The enhanced rates for liquid phase have been well correlated in terms of flow quality. (author)
