Reactor loop plant for studying technological characteristics of coolant
Description
The diagram testing instruments and automation of the reactor loop plant PGZH for studying the coolant technological characteristics has been described. The level of the coolant radiation-thermal stability in the flow-circulation regime has been tested. The rate of formation of the coolant decomposition products which are permanent gases in the conditions of gas-liquid cycle has been evaluated according to variation of their concentration in the condenser vapour volume. Sufficiently high radiation-thermal stability of the coolant has been concluded. The data on deposition of the corrosion products on the surfaces of fuel elements have been derived. The velocity of their formation increases with the rise of their concentration in the coolant. With proper selection of the purification system delivery of the corrosion products of structural materials is compensated by their removal
