Sustainable procurement of official cars for the Dutch government

Description
The objectives of this study are to develop more strict sustainability criteria for procurement policy for official cars for the Dutch government, to examine the effects of alternative scenarios and to provide recommendations that can be used by the Netherlands Society for Nature and Environment to stimulate the government in using more ambitious criteria in their latest tender for official cars. These recommendations involve both the government?s choice of vehicles and the government?s use of these vehicles.
Abstract (Dutch)
Het doel van dit onderzoek is het ontwikkelen van scherpere duurzaamheidscriteria voor het inkoopbeleid van dienstauto's van de rijksoverheid, te onderzoeken wat de effecten van de alternatieve scenario's zijn en het doen van aanbevelingen, op basis waarvan Stichting Natuur en Milieu de rijksoverheid kan stimuleren meer ambitieuze criteria te hanteren bij haar nieuwe aanbesteding voor dienstauto's. Deze aanbevelingen richten zich op zowel de voertuigkeuze van de overheid, als op het gebruik van de voertuigen door de overheid.Additional details
