Behaviour of Small Leaks in Mild Steel Boiler Tubes when Subject to Water at 2,500 PSIG and 350°C
Description
This report is intended as an interim study. It has been produced at this stage in order to show how the work on water leaks from boiler tubes is proceeding. One of the most important results obtained to date, indicates that very small leaks in mild steel boiler tubes tend to completely self-seal themselves due to atmospheric and other corrosive effects.
