Description

The Sm(Fe0.8Co0.2)11Ti were prepared by using arc-melting and melt spinning methods, and their crystallographic and magnetic properties were analyzed by using XRD, VSM, and M¨ossbauer spectrometer. From the refined XRD patterns, Sm(Fe0.8Co0.2)11Ti sample exhibited tetragonal structure with the space group I4/mmm and it was confirmed that Ti and Co atom were found to be located at 8i and 8f-site, respectively. The M¨ossbauer spectra of the samples were obtained at 295 K, and investigated the hyperfine interaction and site occupancy in Sm(Fe0.8Co0.2)11Ti sample. From the hysteresis curves up to 20 kOe at 295 K, the magnetization at 20 kOe (M20 kOe) and intrinsic coercivity (Hc) of the sample showed the highest values of M20 kOe = 107.43 emu/g and Hc = 2399.3 Oe, when annealed at 800 ◦ C for 4 h.
