Mirnov oscillations in TBR-1

Description
The diagnostic system constructed to detect Mirnov oscillations in TBR-1, is described. Twenty magnetic coils were placed inside the vessel at different poloidal and toroidal locations. The coil signals are recorded in ADC modules and Fourier analysed to obtain the poloidal and toroidal mode numbers (m and n, respectively). The frequencies and amplitudes of these modes are also obtained. Preliminary results of the modes detected in various discharges are presented. (Author)

Descreve-se o sistema de diagnostico construido para detetar oscilacoes Mirnov em um TBR-1. Vinte bobinas magneticas foram colocadas dentro do vaso em diferentes localizacoes poloidais e toroidais. Os sinais magneticos sao registrados em modulos ADC e Fourier analizado para obter os numeros modais toroidal e poloidal (m and n, respectivamente). As frequencias e amplitudes desses modos sao tambem obtidos. Resultados preliminares dos modos detectados em varias descargas sao apresentados. (E.G.)Additional details
