On integrability properties of SU(2) Yang-Mills fields

Description
The distribution of 2-plane elements on which infinitesimal parallel displacement of isovectors gives identity, obtained in a previous paper, is investigated for integrability. Criteria for the existence of 2-surfaces on which the Yang-Mills field vanishes are obtained, thus refining the previously given algebraic classification by a differential one. (Author)
