Regge pole contributions to the 16O on 28Si elastic scattering

The regge pole calculation of Takemasa and Tamura, and an appropriate definition of the pole contribution, are used to analyse the cross section of three potentials which fit the data of 16O on 28Si elastic scattering. The large angle anomalous scattering is attributed to the dominance of one, or at most two, regge poles
