Interaction of indium and sodium double tungstate with divalent metal tungstates

Cross sections of MWO4-NaIn(WO4)2 (M=Mg, Ca, Zn, Cd) have been studied by X-ray phase and thermo-optical analysis techniques. Their phase diagrams have been derived. The formation of limited solid solutions based both on tungstates of bivalent metals with magnesium, zinc and cadmium and on the binary sodium and indium tungstate with zinc and cadmium tungstates is established. No solid solutions are formed with calcium tungstate. Variations in the interplanar spacings depending on the component concentrations are given
