Effects of ferric, indium, scandium and lanthanum citrate on the 67-Ga citrate uptake by tumor bearing animals

  • 1. Faculte de Medicine, 54 - Nancy (France)

Description

The simultaneous administration of 67-Ga citrate with ferric or indium or scandium citrate provokes a decreased uptake by tumor tissue. The greatest effect is shown by indium and ferric citrates: 14% and 20% of control group value. All the other assayed tissues show less significant diminution of radioactivity accumulation. Indium citrate increase considerably the incorporation of 67-Ga into bone. These findings are discussed considering the hypothesis of isomorphous ionic replacement
