Reversible Measurement on Quantum States of Trapped-Ion Qubits

  • 1. State Key Laboratory of Magnetic Resonance and Atomic and Molecular Physics, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan 430071 (China)

Description

We consider reversible quantum measurement process with ultracold trapped ions. Two schemes will be proposed based on currently available experimental techniques. We also study the measurement process with electronic shelving amplification. (general)
