The study of RF -stimulated Hall effect in high temperature superconductor Yl-xPrxBa2Cu3O7 (x=0.l)

  • 1. Department of Physics, D.S. College, Aligarh (India)

Description

The High temperature superconductors (Hats) Y123 pure and Pr doped were synthesized using solid state reaction method. The compressed pallets were used in measuring the transport property as Hall effect, using six- probe Hall geometry under radio-frequency signals upto 7 MHz range at room T. The Hall potentials had been recorded under radio-frequency excitation. The various physical parameters such as RH factor, ac-conductivity σac, Hall carrier density NH, Hall angle φ, Hall mobility μ, Cyclotron frequency ωc, plasma frequency ωp, free space wavelength λp and relaxation time τ had been computed. The comprehensive results of electrical transport were employed for various measures of Y123 as HTS. (author)
