Calculation and simulation of the U-200T cyclotron magnetic system

Description
The paper presents calculation results and simulation results of regulated energy U-200T isochronal cyclotron magnetic system. Cyclotron is designed to accelerate protons, deuterons, He+ beams and alpha-particles. The magnetic field within cyclotron middle part is formed using the system covering four pairs of spiral and four pars of section shims, 14 pairs of concentric windings and two systems consisting of four pairs of harmonic windings. Example of formation of mean magnetic field for 70 and 20 MeV proton energy is presented. The maximal current within the windings constitutes maximum 250 A. 3 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs
