Description

The level scheme of 115Sb was investigated using the reaction 113In(α,2nγ)115Sb. Excitation functions, γ-γ-Δt coincidences, lifetimes, γ-ray angular distributions and conversion electrons were measured. Three isomeric states having Jsupπ)=11/2-, 19/2- and 25/2+ and half-lives of 6.7(4) ns, 156(3) ns and 4.0(2) ns respectively were identified. A positive parity band based on a 9/2+ level was observed. The structure of this band is discussed in terms of a strongly coupled rotational band. To explain the configuration mixing observed in the lowest part of the band, cluster-core coupling calculations were performed. (Auth.)
