Response of the lower ionosphere, stratospheric ozone and the vorticity area index in the troposphere to geomagnetic storms

Description

Geomagnetic storms belong to most important phenomena of solar origin causing disurbances within the Earth external crust. Behaviour of radiowaves absorption within low ionosphere over Central Europe, of ozone at 5 and 10 gPa within N 40-60 deg latitude range and index of vorticity area at 500 gPa individually for separated and for powerful geomagnetic storms are investigated. Expected effects of magnetic storm affectation concerning absorption effect in ozone. Rather small effect is observed in troposphere
