Coordination of vanadyl acetylacetonate with nitrogen-containing donor bases

  • 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk. Inst. Khimicheskoj Kinetiki i Goreniya

Description

Using analysis modulation effects in electron spin echo (ESE) of vanadyl acetylacetonate adducts with nitrogen-containing donor bases (pyridine, α-picoline, quinoline, -1-piperidino-9,10-anthraquinone, 2-dimethylamino-1,4-naphthoquinone, aniline, monoethanolamine and others) constants of superfine interaction with atomic nuclei nitrogen of the bases are determined. The VOsup(2+)sub(acacsub(2)) solutions in toluolene with concentration of 10-2-10-1 mol/l have been investigated. Nitrogen-containing bases were added in 5-10 vol.% concentration. The superfine interaction constants are in the range of 3.6-6 MHz and testify to the benefit of the adduct equatiorial structure. Sensitivity of modulation effects with ESE to selection of a base allowed to determine a relative stability of the studied adducts
