Brazing alloys are disclosed containing up to a specified amount of a reactive metal selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, vanadium and mixtures thereof and only one metal selected from the group consisting of silver, gold, palladium, iron, nickel, copper and aluminum are ductile and can be rolled into foils
