Description

Problems related to the insurance of the steam generator performance are, similarly as by the other NPP operators, one of the first ranking tasks at the operator of 4 Units in the NPP Bohunice. Material integrity inspections of the chosen steam generator parts is one of many tasks related to this issue. Inspection is ensured by the periodical inservice inspections. Commissioning of NPP Bohunice units was in years: Unit 1-1978, Unit 2-1980, Unit 3-1984, Unit 4-1985 These 24 steam generators represent more than 433 steam generator-years of operational experience.
