Heat Transfer Analysis using NISA code and Application on the Design of Repository
Description
After introduction of the NISA/DISPLAY module and the NISA/HEAT module, the structure of input data for heat transfer analysis for repository was explained. A series of heat transfer analyses for the KRS-V1 HLW repository system and the KDC-1 canister concept were performed. Analysis models were subdivided by Canister, Near field and Far field, various heat transfer analyses - the steady state, short term and Long term transient state - were performed. Supplementary analyses for the alternative concept of buffer for performance improvement and horizontal disposal concept were carried out
