Aluminium addition effect on crystal growth and physical properties of YBa2Cu3Ox

Description
To determine the crucible material (Al2O3) effect on growth of YBa2Cu3Ox (YBC) superconducting crystals DTA analysis of samples with 2 and 10% aluminium concentration relatively copper content in mixtures with 1:4:10; 1:2,5:6,5 and 1:7:16 ratios is carried out. It is stated that Al additions much decrease superconducting properties, the superconducting transition initial temperature and Meissner effect
