Computers' key role in Candu control
Description
Computers have always played a key role in the development of Candu instrumentation and control design, for direct digital control and later expanded to include major control functions, 'intelligent' alarm annunciation, presentation of operating data, data acquisition and logging. In addition, unique features such as automatic spatial flux control have led to unique developments in in-core instrumentation. (author)
