Influence of neutron irradiation on structure and electroconductivity of the alloy SAV-1

Description
A structure and conductivity of the reactor structural alloys SAV-1 irradiated with fast neutrons by the fluence of 1016-1018 n.cm2 in the temperature range 290-490 K have been investigated. The nonlinear dependence of the resistivity on the dose and temperature has been found. On the basis of X-ray analysis of the alloy, it is shown that the alloy SAV-1 is a solid solution in which the average statistical displacements of atoms are comparable in order of magnitude with their dynamic displacements caused by thermal motion. It is shown that for unirradiated alloy SAV-1 the calculated value of resistivity is in good agreement with the experimental value in studied temperature range. (authors)
