Synthesis of dicyclopentadienydmagnesium catalyzed by vanadium compounds

Description
Formal-kinetic regularities in formation of dicyclopentadienydmagnesium catalyzed by vanadium compounds during magnesium oxidation in system VCl3-Mg-THF-CpH (THF - tetrahydrofuran, CpH - cyclopentadienyl) are ascertained. Certain intermediate products of the reaction, vanadocene inclusively, are identified by the ESR method. Thermodynamic parameters of vanadium trichloride adsorption on magnesium surface are determined. The values of adsorption enthalpy and entropy at 303 K proved -26 ± 4 kJ/mol and -80 ± 8 J/(mol · K) respectively

Установлены формально-кинетические закономерности катализируемого соединениями ванадия образования лициклопентадиенида магния при окислении магния в системе VCl3-Mg-ТГФ-CpH (ТГФ - тетрагидрофуран, СрН - циклопентадиен). Методом ЭПР идентифицирован ряд промежуточных продуктов реакции, в том числе ванадоцен. Определены термодинамические параметры адсорбции трихлорида ванадия на поверхности магния. Значения энтальпии и энтропии адсорбции при 303 К составили соответственно -26 ± 4 кДж/моль и -80 ± 8 Дж/(моль · K)Additional details
