Precondensate phenomena in a nuclear matter
Description
The contribution introduced by the pion field fluctuations to the energy of the nuclear matter is found. The energy of the pion field Esub(π) as a function of the nucleon density has a maximum. It is known that the total energy of the matter may have two minima: a precondensate minimum and a minimum with a developed condensate. When the Esub(π) maximum is sharp a physical mechanism exists which confines the system outside the strong fluctuation range. Therefore the system cannot significantly approach the transition point
