Electron spin resonance studies of free radical formation in irradiated single crystals of 1-methylcytosine, 5-fluorouracil, and a molecular complex containing 1-methylcytosine and 5-fluorouracil
Creators
Description
The study was undertaken to investigate free radical formation in single crystals of nucleic acid components. Irradiated single crystals of the base-paired complex formed between 1-methylcytosine and 5-fluorouracil and single crystals of 1-methylcytosine and 5-fluorouracil were examined in the temperature range 770K-3000K using electron spin resonance
