Limits on compositeness from lepton and photon channels at LEP

Description
Combined data of the four LEP experiments are used to set limits on non-standard processes. A total width of a new process larger than 36 MeV and an invisible width larger than 16 MeV are excluded at 95% confidence level from Z lineshape parameters. Limits are given on masses and couplings of excited leptons: e*, μ*, τ* and ν*, on th QED cutoff parameter Λ, and on the branching ratios of Z decays into π0γ, ηγ and γγγ. No evidence for an anomalous Zγγγ coupling is found. (orig.)
