Description
This paper describes a method and equipment for the determination of density in gases and liquids based on measuring the backscattering of pulsed x radiation from the target material. Scattering optics for the radiation are calculated and the specifications of the equipment are listed. The system was tested by measuring the density of air at various distances from source and detector
