Description
The alteration of a nuclear glass by boiling water leads to the formation of a layer whose thickness is 7 μm after 27 days and 15 μm after 52 days. This layer is composed of two parts: the outer one, widely crystallised, in which one finds a silico-phosphatic zone bearing rare-earth elements, and an inner part widely amorphous whose thickness is time dependent

L'alteration d'un verre nucleaire par l'eau portee a l'ebullition conduit a la formation d'une couche atteignant 7 μm a 27 jours et 15 μm a 52 jours. Cette couche comprend deux parties: une partie externe largement cristallisee dont l'epaisseur reste proche de 4 μm et dans laquelle est presente une zone silico-phosphatique accumulant les terres rares, et une partie interne largement amorphe dont l'epaisseur augmente avec le tempsAdditional details
