Vibrational state and jump frequency of Moessbauer impurity associated with a vacancy in metals

Description
Vibrational local densities of states for the equilibrium configuration and the saddle-point configuration of a vacancy-197Au complex in copper were calculated by the recurs ion method using the Morse potential. The jump frequencies of the impurity diffusion were estimated. A correlation was found between the pre-exponential factor of the jump frequency and the activation energy for migration. (author)
