Cubic anisotropy in cobalt-doped YIG films
Description
The temperature dependence of the cubic anisotropy in cobalt-doped YIG films has been studied using the FMR method. Positive and negative values of K3 were found for the YIG: Co, Ge and YIG: Co, Ge, Ca samples, respectively. A qualitative interpretation of this effect is given based on the canting of the local exchange field acting on the Co2+(a) ion. ((orig.))
